Learn the Art of Felting to Create Wearable Art!
Take off the winter chill and learn the almost-magical process of wet felting in only 2 hours! Our expert instructor, Fiber Artist Suzanne O’Brien will teach you the art of felting and you will create a delicate cobweb felt scarf. This technique uses fine merino and silk blended wool fibers to create a soft and warm winter accessory. A GREAT class for a first time felter.
No Experience Needed! Ages 16 and up.
Fee: $95 + $25 materials.
Time: 6-hr Workshop 10:00a – 4:00p. We will break for lunch so bring food/drink with you.
Material Fee: includes fibers to complete the project and use of instructors tools
What to Bring: Wet Felting can get wet and soapy at times; please wear appropriate clothing, bring two bath towels, and be prepared to have some “good, clean fun”! Also bring a plastic shopping bag (or two) to carry your towels and wet project home.
