Make your ideas come to life! No experience necessary! Campers need to select Fashion Lab NY Camp as their afternoon activity. Our camp will run in the afternoons M-TH.

DESCRIPTION:What a wonderful way to be introduced to fashion design\, sewing and construction! Campers\, rising grades 3 – 6 learn to sketch and sew unique clothing and accessory designs for their doll and themselves. \nIn our American Doll Fashion Design Camp\, we will sketch out some ideas for 18” doll clothes on pattern templates and sew a cool custom garment for you and your doll from the pattern drawings. There will be a nice variety of fabric scraps and trims so that each camper can customize their projects. Our Camp ends with a Fashion Runway Show for parents and friends on Friday at pick-up. \nNo sewing experience needed; we will teach you all you need to know!

SUMMARY:Fiber Art and Sewing Camp: Camp Centerland at JCC\, Buffalo NY
DESCRIPTION:Our Fiber Art and Sewing Camp is a colorful\, hands-on adventure where kids rising grades 3 – 6 get to splash\, stitch\, dye\, and design their way through a super-fun week of creating their own fashion! \nCampers will design and create their own unique fabrics using a variety of fiber-art techniques\, including Japanese Shibori Indigo\, Tumble Tie Dyeing\, sun and stencil printing\, and hand embroidery. They’ll then transform their custom textiles into on-trend accessories and fashion pieces they can proudly wear. \nWith our small camp size\, each camper receives the guidance and support they need to bring their ideas to life. The week concludes with a Fashion Show for family and friends\, where our designers will showcase their handmade creations on Friday at pick-up. No experience needed—we’ll teach them everything they need to know!
